On March 21, 2026, in Amsterdam, the European Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion granted Associate Country status to the Georgian Society of Cardiovascular Perfusion (GSCP).
The decision followed the presentation of GSCP representatives at the Board Meeting, outlining the current state of cardiovascular perfusion practice in Georgia, as well as future plans focused on education, standardization, and alignment with European professional frameworks.
This recognition represents an important step toward the integration of Georgian perfusion practice into the European professional community and reflects the ongoing efforts to develop the field in accordance with contemporary international standards.
GSCP remains committed to active collaboration with EBCP and to contributing to the advancement of perfusion science, education, and clinical quality both nationally and internationally.
